The family housing neighborhood at Aberdeen Proving Ground includes existing homes divided into four areas-Bayside, Patriot Village, Plumb Point and Edgewood. Construction will soon be underway to build a new neighborhood in Bayside. Family housing has its very own dedicated neighborhood management and maintenance team. The old government housing office concept has given way to customer-friendly neighborhood office serving each individual family in the neighborhood.
Picerne Military Housing brings strong experience in the development, construction, maintenance and management of residential property. We adapt the best commercial practices; yet pay heed to military traditions. Our new construction will offer homes of various sizes and configurations including modern duplexes and spacious single-family homes. Picerne does practice rank band integrity and the neighborhood will contain sub-neighborhoods for each of five different pay-grade groups that include Junior NCOs (E-1 - E-5), Senior NCOs (E-6 - E-8), Sergeants Major (E9), Company-Grade (01 - 03) and Field Grade Officers (04 - 05).
As new homes are built, they will make a unique architectural statement. Exterior features of the new homes and the decor within the future Neighborhood Center will define a theme unique to Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Neighborhood Centers
Aberdeen Proving Ground's Neighborhood Office began serving families on December 17, 2009. The Neighborhood Office is located at 2727 Chesapeake Boulevard. For more information, you can contact 410.305.1076.
Future Neighborhood Centers
Eventually, the Neighborhood Office will move to an elaborate Neighborhood Center with amenities that rival those found off post in luxurious modern developments.
