Safety Information
- We are concerned with the safety of all our residents and staff. -
Basic safety precautions will be taken on our construction sites to ensure the safety of all our workers and the public.
These precautions include:
- A 24-hour security camera
- Perimeter fencing
- Signage
- A full-time safety technician
- Comprehensive resident and contractor health and safety evaluations conducted twice annually by an independent health and safety company.
We ask for your help and cooperation as residents of Aberdeen Proving Ground to keep your children off the construction site. To avoid injury and vandalism, we ask that you and your family obey the DO NOT ENTER signs. Unfinished homes present dangerous slip, trip and falling hazards. Without the proper training, experience and guidance someone can very easily suffer an injury. Wandering into the construction area can be very dangerous if you are not properly trained and authorized to be there. Playing on the equipment is extremely dangerous, and may result in injury.
Please remember to keep clear of the work areas. Talk with your children and remind them that, although the area is inviting to explore and play in, it is very dangerous. Project Health and Safety wants everyone, including contractors, employees, residents and military personnel to go home each day safe and sound.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
