Picerne Military Housing is a relatively new company with a distinguished heritage. We trace our roots to 1925, when Romeo Picerne began building homes for immigrant families in Rhode Island. From the start, the focus of his fledgling company was on making life better for families.
Much has changed since then. Much has remained the same. Today the Picerne organization is diversified, developing, constructing and managing whole communities. Even so, the families we serve continue to be our principal focus. Recently, we have partnered with the U.S. Army through the Residential Communities Initiative to develop, build and maintain on-post military family housing. Where better could we make an investment that will improve the quality of life for families who truly deserve comfortable, modern homes?
We believe in long-term ownership of our communities. We build quality homes in desirable locations, manage them professionally, maintain them well and modernize them often.
Picerne Military Housing is developing military communities today that will continue to be viable 50 years from now. Even as construction of the first new neighborhood gets underway at Aberdeen Proving Ground, we are setting aside funds for the future to ensure that every military family moving into a Picerne home enjoys a comfortable, attractive and well maintained home.
